The machines to be auctioned should be in working order, without faults or technical defects.
No problem. Once you have left your contact, you will be assigned a dedicated specialist who will look after your auction at every stage of the sale.
Each item in the auction has a minimum price below which it will not be sold.
If the minimum price is not reached during the auction, we will inform you of the minimum price at the end of the auction.
Negotiations then commence with the highest bidder in the auction. The seller is not obliged to accept a proposal below the minimum price.
Information that the minimum price has been reached is visible on the auction page above the bidding panel.
If the minimum price is reached, this information will be displayed.
Option „Set the maximum offer” consists of entering the maximum amount you wish to spend on the item.
Once you have set a maximum bid, the system will automatically top other bids by a set amount of raise (e.g. £500) until your limit is reached.
Example:
One person sets the maximum bid at £20,000 and the current price is £4,000.
The second person bids £4,500 and the system automatically raises the first person's bid to £5,000.
Automatic boosting will continue until the maximum amount of £20,000 is reached.
If a new bid is placed at the end of the auction (under 3 minutes), the time is extended by a further 3 minutes.
The final closing time of the auction can thus be extended.
The highest amount offered wins. However, if the minimum price is not reached, then the auction owner may not agree to sell the machine at a different price.
At the end of an auction where the minimum price has not been reached, our specialist moves on to negotiate the price with the seller.
